This compact cultivar grows to approximately 6 feet and the foliage tends to be slightly glossier than the that of the species. Fragrant, showy white flowers can be expected in April - June.

Plant in full sun to part shade with moist, well-drained soil. Tolerates a wide range of soil types, including boggy areas.

Plant as a specimen plant, massed in groups and in the border. Makes a good choice for planting near bogs and water gardens as well.
