Rosa palustris

Swamp rose is a thorny shrub often found growing near the base of Bald Cypress in the South and along the edges of cranberry bogs in the Northeast. Their short-lived blooms are a vivid pink with yellow centers that appear in the late spring and only last until mid-summer. Their upright growth can reach 6 feet tall but the arching branches make this easily as broad.

Moisture is the name of the game with this beauty that provides cover for birds and native wildlife who also love tp eat the rosehips that follow the blooms.

Perfect for rain gardens and stream banks. Naturalizes easily.

Comes to you 12"-18" tall in a 2 gallon pot.

*Please note: Our native plants are field-grown and untreated with pesticides or fertilizers (how it should be!) Because of this, some varieties may show spots, browning or holes in the foliage during the fall months. Our plants have been organically treated if needed and are healthy and strong.
