Spigelia marilandica 'Little Redhead'

'Little Redhead' is known for it's red tubular flowers with yellow insides that grow on upright stems above dark green wedge-shaped foliage. This native perennial is highly sought after and is loved by wildlife enthusiasts. 

Plant in full sun to part shade with average moisture, well-drained soil. Do not plant in areas with standing water as it cannot tolerate that much moisture. Easy to grow and extremely attractive, this perennial is easy choice for the landscape or native garden. 

Grow in containers, cottage, woodland and eclectic gardens. Achillea, Baptisia, Penstemon, Phlox, Salvia and Sedum all make great companions in the garden.
