Prized, rare and hard to find! Red Buckeye is a native shrub that grows to about 14' tall and wide in irregular form. Its mainly noted for its large, complex 10" flowers that appear in April and May. Flowers are vibrant, and a magnet to hummingbirds. Those who plant Red Buckeye are almost guaranteed to see hummingbirds on it every year. It's fall foliage, however, is unremarkable. 

Plant Red Buckeye in a full sun to part shade area. It will thrive in average soil, and do well in wet areas as well, like rain gardens. Arrives to you in a 2 gallon pot.
