Papaver orientale 

Oriental poppies are a large group of herbaceous perennials. They all feature large, colorful blooms featuring light, crepe-papery petals and large dark centers with stamens. Poppies appear in early spring and bloom in the cool spring months of April and May. They are fairly short lived, however their flowers are so large that its worth the short lifespan. Poppies are herbaceous: after they bloom and the weather turns hot, they will completely disappear into the ground until the next year. Its recommended that you plant late-blooming perennials, like Rudbeckia, Asters or Echinacea nearby to fill in the gaps they leave during summer.

'Spring Fever Mix' features a mix of bright orange, red, pink, white and yellow blooms with yellow centers and stamens reaching 10-12" tall. More dwarf than other poppy varieties. Plant in full sun and enjoy blooms in April and May.
