Digitalis grandiflora

Commonly known as Yellow foxglove.

Known as one of the best performing foxgloves. Native to woods and stream banks of central Europe and Siberia, digitalis is a classic perennial that's commonly featured in borders, cottage gardens, woodlands and naturalized areas. The variety grandiflora features tall stalks with soft creamy-yellow tubular, bell-shaped flowers with brown markings on the interior.

This foxglove blooms the first season so plants are shorter and sturdier. Deer resistant and able to handle part-shade, foxglove make great edging plants along woodland areas where they may naturalize. Foliage grows to 12-18" tall and flowers can grow to 3 feet tall. Biennial Foxglove and self seeds. Cut back main flower spike as it fades.

Digitalis is extremely toxic to humans and pets. Be sure to plant in areas that are out of reach of pets and kids, and wear gloves or wash hands after handling heavily.
