Dianthus gratianopolitanus 'Firewitch'

This variety of Dianthus forms a low clump of grassy green foliage that produces pretty magenta pink-colored flowers that bloom from mid-spring to mid-summer. 'Firewitch' petals have a slight fringed edge to the blooms. An excellent choice to edge borders or as a great contrast in rock gardens.

Deadhead spent flowers to encourage additional blooms. Shear off old flowering stems and approximately 1/3 of the foliage after blooming. Foliage will quickly recover and look nice, even into winter. Prefers loose and sandy alkaline soils. Can be divided in spring every 2-3 years.

Arrives to you in a quart-sized pot.
