Deschampsia cespitosa
Also called Tufted Hair Grass.
Native to most areas of the world, Deschampsia Caespitosa is a tufted, cool-season grass that does well in part-shade, and blooms in the summer months. It attracts birds. Its flowers are a mix of gold, silver and green. It's one of the few ornamental grasses that performs well in shade. Black walnut tolerant.
