Aconitum x cammarum ‘Bicolor’

Commonly known as Blue Monkshood. This uncommon, late-summer bloomer brings masses of hooded blossoms in shades of violet blue and white through the dog-days of summer.

Makes an outstanding cut flower. May need staking in early summer to help support it's upright clump of deeply-cut green leaves.

Plant Aconitum in well-drained, moist soil. Does not do well in dry soil. Will thrive in full-sun to part-shade. Plant is deer-resistant. Entire plant including flowers is toxic so keep away from pets and children. Do not plant near vegetables. Easily divided in early spring every 3 to 4 years.

Companion plants are Echinacea, Anemone & Helenium.

Arrives to you in a gallon sized pot.
