Sisyrinchium angustifolium 'Lucerne'

Commonly known as blue-eyed grass, 'Lucerne' is a clump forming perennial featuring grass-like foliage. Flowers are violet-blue with yellow centers and have branched flowering stems. Expect blooms from late spring to mid-summer (May - June).

Prefers to be planted in full sun to part shade in medium moisture, well-drained soils. First found growing in Lucerne, Switzerland, this plant is known for its 1 inch, star-like blooms that flower profusely.

A lovely choice for the informal, naturalized garden. Perfect to use for edging, along mixed borders and flower beds. You can also plant in pots and containers to liven up spaces in your yard. Ajuga, Sedum and Heuchera make lovely companions in the garden.

Native to North America.

Arrives to you in a quart-sized pot, as shown in photo 5.
