Rudbeckia fulgida var. sullivantii 'Goldsturm'

Also known as Black-eyed Susan, this easy-to-care-for perennial has beautiful displays of tightly bunched daisy-like yellow flowers with dark centers that bloom from summer to fall (June - September). 

Rudbeckia 'Goldsturm' performs best in moist, well-drained soils, full sun, and works well when planted in mass along borders or in garden beds to give that wildflower, country garden look. 'Goldsturm' makes a great cut flower as well. In addition to being a popular and tough perennial, it is also beneficial to birds, butterflies, and bees. It is also deer resistant. 

Deadhead spent flowers to encourage additional bloom. Plants slowly spread in the garden by rhizomes.

Rudbeckia 'Goldstrum' pairs well with Echinacea, Asclepias, Panicum, Coreopsis, Agastache, and Carex.
