Raspberry 'Caroline' is your classic red raspberry with sweet, yet tart, fruit that is double yielding. The first crop produces on old wood in July, with a second crop producing on new wood in September. Caroline is a vigorous grower and will reach its mature size of 4-5 feet wide within 3 years typically.

Plant in full sun only. It's important to plant at least 75 feet away from any black raspberry varieties as they tend to share diseases and blight if planted close together and infected.  Caroline is a self-pollinating variety, however planting it near other raspberry varieties will increase its production. Typical yield is high after a year- producing up to 12 pounds per plant per year.
