Nepeta faassenii 'Purrsian Blue'

Similar to 'Cat's Meow' Nepeta, 'Purrsian Blue' has a smaller, more compact habit. Its flowers are dense and colorful, and its habit is compact and refined. Plus, it stands strong with no flopping, getting wider and growing to a broad mound as the season progresses. Periwinkle blue flowers arrive from early summer into fall.

Prefers full sun and average, well-drained soil of low to average moisture. Plants respond well to shearing to promote rebloom. Grows to 18" tall and 30" wide. Deer and rabbit resistant, Nepeta also attracts pollinators such as bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.

An excellent choice for mass plantings, cottage and prairie gardens. Foliage emits a fragrance that is attractive to cats, hence the common name of catmint. Makes a nice cut flower as well. Plant with Agastache, Heucherella, Monarda and Leucanthemum as garden companions.

Arrives to you in a quart-sized pot.
