Nepeta faassenii
'Early Bird' proves its namesake by being the earliest bloomer of the Nepta varieties. Blooming as early as April and lasting up to six weeks. Compact gray-green aromatic foliage will keep the deer and rabbits away, but the butterflies will love the lavender-blue flowers! Makes a great groundcover that is both heat and drought-tolerant.
Prefers full sun and average, well-drained soil of low to average moisture. Plants respond well to shearing to promote rebloom. Grows to 10-12" tall and 12" wide.
Arrives to you in a quart-sized container.
