Lithodora diffusa 'Grace Ward'

The intense blue of Lithodora 'Grace Ward' is spectacular around rocks and landscape boulders. A sprawling mat of dark green, evergreen, needle-like foliage, support the blooms which are highly attractive to late spring pollinators. 

The slightly mounded form adds softness and color to the top of retaining walls. Works well as a rock garden accent, softly flowing between boulders. Performs best with some shade. Excellent as an edger in the perennial border.  Like a groundcover, it spreads over a very large area. Great on slopes, berms and banks to offer both color and erosion control.

Must have full sun and well-drained, acidic soil. We recommend cutting it back after flowering to freshen the foliage. Will self seed. Can divide or transplant spring or fall.
