Liatris spicata 'Kobold'

This native plant features tall pink-purple spikes that bloom in summer through to fall. 'Kobold' is a compact, upright perennial plant that does not need staking. Liatris is sometimes known by the names of blazing star or gayfeather.

Perfect to plant in mixed borders to give that wildflower, cottage garden look. The fluffy disk flowers are excellent as fresh or dried cut flowers. Irresistible to pollinators, this is a popular garden perennial to attract hummingbirds, bees and butterflies.
