Lavandula angustifola 'Munstead'

‘Munstead’ is a compact, early-flowering English lavender with large lavender-blue flower spikes.  Very aromatic and fragrant! It is a semi-woody perennial that typically grows to 12-18” tall and as wide. Lavender blue flowers appear in late spring well into summer.

A great choice for planting along perennial beds and walkway borders. Flowers are just a tad lighter than Hidcote, and the shorter stature makes it a good choice for the front of the border. Commonly used for perfumes, sachets, and oils.

Likes heat and well-drained soil. Pairs well with Echinacea and Rudbeckia. Cut back by 1/3 to 1/2 in spring when new foliage appears. Do not cut back in fall. Plant 20" apart when mass planting.

Arrives to you in a gallon-sized container.
