Ilex glabra 'Shamrock'

Shamrock is a native Holly. Its native from Novia Scotia all the way to Florida. Its commonly known as Inkberry. It grows in a rounded form, and can reach 6 feet tall and wide over time. Shamrock is an excellent choice for native gardeners who want to add form to their gardens without compromising the efficacy of environmentally-focused gardening.

Plant Shamrock in full or part sun. Unlike many other holly varieties, Shamrock can tolerate dry to wet soil and is a great choice for rain gardens or lower gardens that receive more moisture. Berries produce when multiple shrubs are planted and are a good food source for birds during cold months. Does not require heavy pruning.

Arrives to you in a 3 gallon pot, as shown in photo 3.
