Iberis sempervirens Snowsurfer™ 'Forte'

Commonly called Candytuft, Iberis 'Snowsurfer™ Forte' is a low-growing, tight mounding, woody-based perennial. It blooms a carpet of small white flowers in early spring that dies off by mid-May. Highly attractive to butterflies.

'Snowsurfer' will grow to be about 12 inches tall at maturity, with a spread of 18 inches. When grown in masses or used as a bedding plant, individual plants should be spaced approximately 16 inches apart. Its foliage tends to remain dense right to the ground, not requiring facer plants in front.

Commonly used as a showy ground cover or border plant in cottage gardens. Fairly cool tolerant and also tolerant of rabbits and deer. Evergreen for most, or all of the year if above zone 6a. Prune lightly right after blooming, but otherwise, leave plants alone in fall and early spring.

Arrives to you in a quart-sized container as shown in photo 4.
