Iberis sempervirens

Commonly called Candytuft, Iberis purity is a low-growing, tight mounding, woody-based perennial. It blooms a carpet of small white flowers in early spring that dies off by mid-May. Highly attractive to butterflies. Mature clumps will reach up to 8" tall and spread to fill a 1.5' area.

Commonly used as a showy ground cover or border plant in cottage gardens. Fairly cool tolerant and also tolerant of rabbits and deer. Evergreen for most, or all of the year if above zone 6a. Prune lightly right after blooming, but otherwise, leave plants alone in fall and early spring.

Arrives to you in a quart-sized container as shown in photo 4.
