Hosta fortunei 'Wide Brim'

'Wide Brim' adds a great pop of color to your shade gardens with the leaves emerging as true green and white and maturing into apple green with a creamy outline.  While this beauty prefers shade, it will tolerate some sun for a few hours a day.

The showy, lavender, mid-summer blooms are surprisingly fragrant. Mass plant for a stunning border or add a few to fill in beneath a tree. Water frequently, especially during prolonged hot and dry periods.

Pruning to a few inches above the soil at first frost allows enough plant to mark its location and redirects energy to the roots to support their winter rest.
