Commonly called Sneezeweed, this cultivar is known for its rounded habit and densely clustered stems that reach up to 3’ in height. This Helenium can easily fit into smaller settings, in the fronts of borders, or in gardens with limited space. Deer tend to leave Mardi Gras alone, but the butterflies and bees love it!

A showy display of radiant yellow, orange, and red 2” flowers is nothing short of spectacular. Before the central disc florets have opened the ray florets are primary yellow, streaked with orange. The petals take on orange and red pigments with age and finally fade to a soft orange towards the end of their bloom cycle.
