Geum 'TEMPO™ Yellow'
A part of the TEMPO™ series, this geum produces vibrant yellow ruffled blossoms that emerge from rosy-pink sepals on straight dark stems above a bright green mound of foliage. Blooming from April into June. The upward-facing semi-double flowers resemble small roses. Attractive wispy silvery seed heads will form if some spent flowers are left.
Blooms can reach up to 20 inches high and should be trimmed when they start to fade to encourage re-blooming. Plant 18" apart when mass planting. Geum is a fast grower and fairly pest resistant. This variety is easy to grow in fertile well-draining soil in full sun to part shade.
