These hollow, dark green leaves have a mild flavor that tastes somewhere between garlic and onion while still having that classic chive taste.  Garlic chives can also be used in border planting or container gardens. They can be planted along a path or as a dense ground cover too. They produce small, star-shaped blooms which flower as a lovely cream-colored shade. 

Perfect to be used in vinaigrette, soft cheese, butter, scones, soups, and salads.
