Festuca glauca 'Elijah Blue'

Festuca 'Elijah's Blue' has excellent color retention all season with stiffer extra-fine foliage, and pronounced seed fronds. One of the best blue fescues. Feathery tan seed heads complement the blue foliage and resemble wheat. Domed-shaped habit lends itself to a stunning accent plant or a great edger.

It is not originally native to North America, but it is highly tolerant of urban pollution and will grow in inner-city environments. A compact and versatile ornamental grass that may be used as an edging plant for borders or paths, a ground cover for small areas, or as an accent in rock gardens and border fronts. Mixes well with other ornamental grasses. Plant 12" apart when planting multiple.
