Eryngium yuccifolium

Also known as Rattlesnake Master, this low maintenance, hardy perennial features greenish-white blooms that are in a globe-like form. Best left undisturbed once established as this is a tap-rooted plant. 

Perfect to plant along edges or in your garden bed especially when contrasted with purple and yellow neighbors. This plant is also great for cutting, fresh or dried. For drying, cut stems just as the flower fully opens, and hang upside down to dry in a warm, dark place.

The common name, Rattlesnake Master, is a nod to its former use in treating rattlesnake bites.
