Also known as a Garden Pink, Dianthus ‘Floral Lace Red’ features masses of rich red flowers with a light clove-like fragrance. Flowering from late spring into summer with repeat blooming when deadheaded, Dianthus makes an excellent cut flower and is ideal for containers, borders, and cottage-style gardens. Dianthus ‘Floral Lace Red’ typically grows about 8–10 inches tall with a similar spread, maintaining a compact, mounded habit.  

Plant in full sun in well-drained garden soil. Dianthus prefers soils that drain well and should not be kept overly wet. Deadheading spent flowers encourages continued blooming.

Plant in the garden with Geraniums, Petunias, Pansies, Echinacea, Penstemon, Rudbeckia, Agastache, Iris, and Salvia as companions.
