Chelone glabra

Commonly known as ‘White Turtlehead’ this native perennial is perfect for the shaded areas of your garden to give that woodland look. Works well in borders as long as the soil is well watered or is in a position where water will drain to, like the bottom of slopes. In late summer to fall you can expect snapdragon-like white blooms. Important later season pollinator.
