Commonly called Giant Pincushion Flower. Closely related to and resembling Scabiosa, the Giant pincushion flower is loved for its very large 3" primrose yellow flowers on very tall sturdy stems. Young foliage is particularly attractive as well. Makes an excellent cut flower or a great addition to any perennial or cottage garden. Blooms in summer, usually late June or July and loves the sun.
