Camassia leichtlinii

Sometimes called Leichtlin's camass or large camass, this bulbous perennial produces star-shaped flowers on upright racemes. Stalks will have 20-80 flowers that start blooming from the bottom up. Flowers range in color from white, cream, blue or purple and bloom from early to mid-spring (April - May).

Plant in full sun to part shade with moist, well-drained soil. Bulbs should be planted 4-6" deep and 6" apart. Black Walnut tolerant and makes an excellent cut flower.

Plant in masses of at least 15 bulbs for dramatic effect. A good choice for woodland gardens, as accents on the edges of ponds, in borders and wildflower meadows.

Arrives to you in a gallon-sized container.
