Buddleia x 'SMNBDL' USPP 30,236

Buddleia is a large family of flowering shrubs that are commonly known as 'Butterfly Bush.' They are typically a medium-large sized shrub that offer profuse, sweet flowers that blooms for most of the growing season. Their flowers are popular with hummingbirds, butterflies and other pollinators, however they are not native, not are they the perfect nectar source for these organisms. Butterfly bushes are most often grown for aesthetics as they do look beautiful for most of the year.

Pugster Amethyst grows in a compact mound with shoots of large purple-blue flower spikes covering the bush. This variety provides non-stop color from summer through to the first frost of fall. Thanks to its long-blooming habit, Pugster butterfly bushes adds low-maintenance color to any sunny spot in your yard.

Their thick, sturdy stems, give them better ability to withstand cold weather. A magnet for butterflies, this pollinator is great to be used as edging/border planting, ground cover, or focal point. Deadheading not required.

Arrives to you in a 3 gallon-sized pot as shown in photo 4.
