Vaccinium corymbosum 'Sweetheart"

Considered a Highbush Blueberry, Sweetheart is best known for its ability to produce two crops of berries per year in warmer climates. Delicate white blossoms nestled in the deep green foliage precede each crop - the first in the spring being more prolific than the latter. In the fall, the leaves turn vibrant red and orange before dropping well after first frost.

Sweetheart prefers organically rich soil that retains moisture and does well in full to part sun.

You can expect fruit by the third year after planting and while these are self-pollinating, companion planting with other varieties that share bloom time will encourage more and larger super sweet fruit.

Comes to you in a 1-gallon pot
