Astrantia major 'Primadonna'

Commonly called 'Hattie's Pincushion'.  This herbaceous perennial features beautiful pinkish-white pincushion-type flowers that appear from May-September on sturdy tall stems that reach up to 24" in height. Foliage is deeply serrated and bright green. Flowers are popular with pollinators and make excellent cut flowers for early fall bouquets. Plant can be cut back after initial blooms for a second flush of blooms later in fall. Prefers moist soil and full to part sun.
