Astilbe x arendsii 'Fanal'

Astilbe ‘Fanal’ features deep red flower plumes that are perhaps the darkest of the astilbe family. It is also known for the bronze color of the foliage as it emerges. Leaves turn dark green with a reddish tint as summer moves along. Expect blooms in your garden in July.

The dense, upright form is perfect in the middle or back row of shade borders or in woodland gardens. Perfect for edging shady areas and effective on pond or stream banks.
