Aster novi-belgii 'Wood's Pink'

Commonly called New York Aster. Aster novi-belgii just begin to bloom as many other perennials are fading for the season! They're native, reliable and add splashes of color to perennial gardens during fall. In addition, they are incredibly attractive to pollinators and are a staple food source for many bees during the fall. They thrive in dry areas in full, beating sun.

'Woods Pink' is a low, spreading Aster featuring daisy-like flowers. It blooms in the fall when most other plants have finished for the season, covering itself with an abundance of pink flowers. 

Plant in full to part sun with to medium moisture, well-drained soil. Extremely easy to care for, this aster is excellent for attracting butterflies.

Works well as a ground cover, along borders or in rock gardens. Perfect for the front of a border due to its dwarf size. Plant with Sedum, Salvia, Echinacea or Shasta daisies for companions.
