Aquilegia sibirica 'Biedermeier'

Aquilegia 'Biedermeier' is a Columbine hybrid that features blooms in a mix of colors that can include white, pink, red, or blue. The Biedermeier group of Columbine feature compact, low growing plants with lacy foliage and bell shaped flowers. Truly a garden classic, you can expect blooms in late spring (April - May). 

Grow in full sun to part shade with average, evenly moist, well-drained soil. Hummingbirds are known to be attracted to these beautiful blooms, while they are also deer and rabbit resistant. 

Perfect for planting along the sunny borders and edges of your garden to get that cottage or woodland look. Removing stems after flowering may encourage another bloomPoppies, Allium and Alchemilla make great companion plants in the garden.
