Alocasia melo, also called the Jewel Alocasia, is a rare and highly sought-after houseplant known for its thick, leathery leaves with a unique, almost stone-like texture. The foliage is a deep bluish-green with pronounced, silvery veins that give it an otherworldly appearance. Unlike many Alocasias, its leaves are more rigid and rugged, adding a sculptural quality to indoor plant collections.
