Achillea millefolium 'New Vintage Violet'

Commonly known as yarrow, the upright habit and deep magenta-pink blooms make ‘New Vintage Violet’ a favorite in any perennial border. With an average height of 12-14" tall, you can expect blooms throughout summer and into early fall (June - September)

Plant Achillea in full sun with average garden soil and good drainage. This plant will tolerate poor soils if the drainage is good.  After the initial flowering, this plant benefits from being cut back and will bloom again. The flowers are beautiful in both fresh and dried arrangements.  Deer resistant, drought tolerant and great for air pollution, this is the perfect addition to any home garden.

Flowers and foliage form dense clusters when mass planted, making it ideal for full coverage of areas of your garden. An excellent plant when used in cottage, rock and prairie gardens or mass planted. Lavender, Perovskia, Salvia and Sedum make great companion plants in the perennial border.

Arrives to you in a quart-sized pot.
