Achillea millefolium 'Little Moonshine'

Commonly known as yarrow, 'Little Moonshine' is the shorter more compact version of Achillea 'Moonshine'. This herbaceous perennial grows 9-12" tall and wide while still maintaining the same size blooms as 'Moonshine' (roughly 2-4" across). Bright yellow blooms arrive from June to September on stems that have a finely cut green-gray foliage.

Plant Achillea in full sun with average garden soil and good drainage. This plant will tolerate poor soils if the drainage is good.  After the initial flowering, this plant benefits from being cut back and will bloom again. The flowers are beautiful in both fresh and dried arrangements.  Deer resistant, drought tolerant and great for air pollution, this is the perfect addition to any home garden.

An excellent plant when used in cottage, rock and prairie gardens. Lavender, Perovskia and Sedum make great companion plants in the perennial border.

Arrives to you in a quart-sized container.
