Alocasia ‘Black Stem’ (Elephant Ear)
Commonly called Elephant Ear, this tropical plant is known for its striking, near-black stems that provide bold contrast to its large foliage. It typically reaches about 3–4 feet tall and 2–3 feet wide, making it an excellent choice for containers, patios, or shaded garden areas.
Large, green, arrow-shaped leaves are held upright on dark purple to black stems, creating dramatic seasonal interest.
Thrives in part sun to shade and prefers rich, well-drained soil with consistent moisture for best performance.
