Myrica pensylvanica

Adored as a versatile deciduous shrub that can be used in woodland gardens or borders, the Northern Bayberry is perfect to mass plant as a hedge/screen. Salt tolerance makes this shrub a great choice for plantings near roads.

If flowers are cross-pollinated, grayish-white fruits will show in late summer and will continue through the winter. Birds love the fruits of this bayberry.

Bayberry typically will reach 6-10' tall and wide. Expect leaves to brown and some to fall off completely during winter months. Best if planted in full sun to part shade, and in average to dry soil.

Arrives to you in a 2 gallon-sized pot, as shown in photo 4.
