Solidago x

Solidago Little Lemon is a compact, clump-forming goldenrod variety prized for its soft, lemon-yellow flower clusters that appear from late summer into early fall. Growing just 12–18 inches tall, it offers a more restrained habit than traditional goldenrods, making it perfect for smaller gardens, borders, or containers. Its airy blooms attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, while the plant’s vibrant color brightens the late-season landscape.

To grow Solidago Little Lemon, choose a location in full sun to light shade with well-drained soil. It adapts to a range of soil types and is drought-tolerant once established, though moderate moisture encourages the best flowering. Plant in spring or early fall, spacing about 12 inches apart. Deadheading can prolong the bloom season and prevent unwanted self-seeding. This low-maintenance perennial resists deer and is an excellent choice for pollinator gardens, cottage plantings, and mixed borders, bringing cheerful color when many other plants are fading.
