Achillea ptarmica 'Peter Cottontail'

Commonly known as yarrow, the 'Peter Cottontail' variety is unique for its more rounded blooms making it look like your garden is full of cotton balls. A beneficial pollinator, the smaller growth habit of the Peter Cottontail makes a wonderful border plant.

Plant Achillea in full sun with average garden soil and good drainage. This plant will tolerate poor soils if the drainage is good.  After the initial flowering, this plant benefits from being cut back and will bloom again. The flowers are beautiful in both fresh and dried arrangements.  Deer resistant, drought tolerant and great for air pollution, this is the perfect addition to any home garden.

An excellent plant when used in cottage, rock and prairie gardens. Lavender, Perovskia, Ornamental Grasses, Coneflowers and Sedum make great companion plants in the perennial border.

Arrives to you in a quart-sized pot.
