Phlox paniculata FLAME® ‘Watermelon’
Also known as Garden Phlox, FLAME® ‘Watermelon’ produces bright watermelon‑red blooms with magenta and pink highlights atop compact, upright stems. This fragrant garden phlox flowers from mid- to late summer and attracts butterflies and hummingbirds, making it perfect for pollinator-friendly gardens and cut flowers. Plants grow about 15–18 inches tall and 12–16 inches wide with a tidy, well-branched habit.
Plant in full sun to part sun in well-drained soil with average moisture. Remove spent flowers to encourage additional blooming. The FLAME® series is resistant to powdery mildew and deer resistant.
A great choice for borders, containers, and mixed perennial beds, providing long-lasting summer color in a compact form.
