Commonly known as Lenten Rose, Helleborus ‘Mother of the Bride’  features large, 3–3½ inch, fully double, outward-facing flowers. Blooms open in soft blush to pale pink and mature to creamy white, often accented with subtle pink veining and a warm central glow. Flowers are held well above the foliage and appear from late winter into early spring.

Helleborus are cold-tolerant, evergreen perennials valued for winter and early spring color. Their dark green foliage remains attractive year-round, and ‘Mother of the Bride’ is especially appreciated for its elegant coloring and upright floral display.

Best grown in shade to partial shade, hellebores are long-lived and well suited to woodland and shade gardens, containers, and underplanting beneath shrubs. Helleborus ‘Mother of the Bride’ pairs beautifully with Heuchera, Brunnera, Galanthus, and spring bulbs for extended seasonal interest.
