Sedum SunSparkler® 'Firecracker'

‘SunSparkler Firecracker’ features brilliant burgundy, succulent type leaves that are accompanied by clusters of pink flowers. Blooms late summer through early fall. A low care perennial, sedums store water in their foliage which allows them to be extremely drought tolerant.

A great choice for rock gardens, planters or to edge borders as a groundcover. Upright sedums form substantial clumps of foliage. The stout, sturdy stems support massive flower heads which develop in summer and burst into bloom in fall. If left standing, they provide winter interest and food for birds. Pairs well with asters, coreopsis, and yarrow.

Cut sedums back in the spring as the new growth arrives from the ground. Plants should also be divided and moved in Spring.
