Tithonia rotundifolia
A member of the daisy family, this vigorous annual reaches heights of 4-5 feet tall and 3 feet wide of lush foliage dotted with bright orange blooms on thick woody stems. Stunning when mass planted or as a welcome addition to garden beds and containers, these showy beauties are very tolerant of most soil types but prefer to stay on the drier side.
The Mexican Sunflower blooms from June through September and deadheading spent flowers will promote longer a blooming period. Plants may require support.
