Scilla 'Litardierei'

Commonly called Amethyst Meadow Squill, this grass like foliage is well known for its star-shaped, amethyst-blue to violet, grape-hyacinth-like flowers, which open in late spring. Easy grower! Scilla naturalize readily in well-draining soil and in full to partial sunlight. A staple for any spring flower beds. 

It is best to plant in large groups or meadows to create a natural effect. Works well in rock garden or in the border front. Also mixes well with other early blooming bulbs. Deer and rabbit resistant.  Each bulb produces 3-4 stems, with 3-5 flowers per stem

Plant bulbs 5" deep and 4-6" apart in fall.
