Salix integra 'Hakuro Nishiki'

Commonly called Dappled Willow, 'Hakuro Nishiki' features striking, variegated foliage on graceful branches throughout the growing season. Leaves emerge pink in spring and fade to shades of pink, cream and green. As summer progresses, leaves will turn more green and eventually yellow in fall before falling off. Stems are a pink color in warmer climates and only new growth stems are pink in colder regions.

Easy to grow in full sun and moist soil, be sure to give these guys plenty of room as they can reach 15-20 feet tall! A great choice for a specimen plant, as an informal hedge or privacy screen. 

Prune as needed in late winter or early spring to help keep the compact, weeping shape. Plant in the garden with Hosta, Roses and Alchemilla as companions.
