The Cherokee Princess dogwood tree is a classic flowering dogwood variety admired for its large, showy white blooms that appear in early spring. To grow a Cherokee Princess dogwood, choose a site with partial sun to light shade, especially in warmer climates. Plant it in moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soil enriched with organic matter. Water regularly during establishment and during dry periods, as dogwoods prefer consistent moisture.
